Kaffe Fassett comes to town...

A new line of knitted scarves will be coming out soon...based on Scandinavian folk designs...love the colors!
A quilt made using Kaffe fabrics that will be raffled.
Little rolls of Kaffee fabric for sale...
I'm all smiles as I get to meet Kaffee himself after the lecture.

My art friend Carol Ledig and I went to Kaffee Fassett's Kaledioscope of Color Lecture last night
in Ventura. It was a power point presentation of highlights of his work including patchwork designs, needlepoint, mosaic, painting, and knitting designs. so inspired by his wonderful color combinations and all the areas that he explores. He said he usually has about 6 projects going on at once.....sound familiar?
Have to get to work at the store...so just a quick post...more later...

Kaffe is an amazing guy. I did a weekend workshop with him when he came to Australia a few years ago. I see everything in a new light ever since. I've also knitted two of his big coats and I started a jumper using the design in your second photo, only it ended up as a chair cover, a needlepoint project got in the way.
