the last two days the fog has helped immensely to cool things down and although there are still smoldering spots with smoke arising in areas that we can see, it is much better than it was. The helicopters and planes have been working all day to put out hot spots and crews from all over California have come to our assistance. When the roads open up again things will get back to a more normal pattern.

Glad to know that you are safe and sound. Happy Mother's Day to you, too!
Glad to know you are okay! Whew! That was too big and too close!
Happy Mothers Day to you too!
Hugs,
Debbie
Mary, Happy mothers day to you too! sounds like you are too close for comfort with the fires. Be safe. It takes someone special to be a volunteer.
And you are a FIREFIGHTER???
Seriously, Mary.... You ARE a wonder-woman.
Huge hugs to you and your family. I am so glad to hear you are safe.

That is too creepy for words. I have been thinking about you, wishing those flames away from you. I am so GLAD you and yours are okay, I had friends who lost everything in the fires in San Diego last year. Too awful for words.
Wish I could come to Art Fiberfest and take your class, in the meantime I think you should schedule a class in Colorado!
Gad you're fine and able to stay put. What an ordeal!
