Family road trip...

We are off on a week long trip to Portland, Oregon for a family wedding celebration. Will be fun to see my brother and his family and celebrate his younger son's marriage. My sister in law and I will spend Saturday shopping-Alberta St is on my list and other cool places she knows about. The boys may go fishing or kayaking or the the Nike store where my nephew has an "in"...
then back down to our favorite spot, Calistoga before we head for home.
Made a few things this week, but I think they still may need some finishing touches....the little owl is painted and stuffed muslin and so is the funny girl doll...I think she needs hair and more detail work. Will have to wait until I get back home....

And I finally got this large mushroom put together. The bottom part is made from an antique quilt piece from my friend Patti. Different on each side.

And the fabric mushrooms got their stems!
Have a great week and keep making stuff!

Love those mushrooms! Portland is great this time of year although we plan to heat back up into the high 80's, low 90's. Have fun at the wedding.

I love all your mushrooms and these are the most gorgeous that I've seen. So beautiful and magical.

Did I tell you that my husband and I did part of our honeymoon in Calistoga? Such a special place...

Hope you enjoyed your road trip.
