Coastal Quilters

Here are a few of the quilts that caught my eye at the quilt show last Saturday. Many different styles and sizes from art quilts to king size. These are all from our local area quilters.

Inspired by Hundertwasser...with sparkles!

A fun display of aprons hanging on the clothesline!

You know I love the Hundertwasser one!

All of them have so much detail and color! Lovely!

I love the one inspired by Hunderwasser--I have a book about his life and his paintings. Also, I like the poppies and the one with the appliqued( I think) birds. Very pretty. They are all unique.

These quilts are so inspiring! As usual, I'm drawn to the one with the little funky houses. Mary, thanks for checking in with me. I took a copy of the mag. over to my 94 yr. old mom's and as we went through it we both stopped to ooh and ahh over the cutest little embellished bag. Well, of course that was yours! I told mom, "She's a bloggy friend!" Mom can't quite grasp the blog thing, but she is an artist herself, still drawing all the time, and just loved your little bag. Such darling details!
