What fun hearts!Mary, how did you color the tin hearts?Solvang is soooo charming. Miss the bakery and fun little shops.
What a neat idea on the heart garland!I recently became a follower of your blog and thought you might be interested in doing the same at decolourant.blogspot.comIf you haven't heard about deColourant, it is a new, exciting and recently named TOP 20 new product of CHA 2011. It removes and replaces the color of fabrics with ease. I think this product would be a great addition to your supplies and tons of neat ideas can be created with it!www.harbor-sales.comwww.i-kandi.com
Thanks everyone for your comments!Marie, I just used tin containers from the thrift store that were already colored. I try and pick out tins that have interesting color areas that I can use. Part of the fun hunting at garage sales and thrift stores. Linda and Opie O'Brian teach classes in making tin jewelry..that's where I learned about tools and techniques. They have a great book out now.
