I made this group of fiber acorns to sell and play with. I think they would look great on a Thanksgiving table sprinkled around or as little gifts for your fiber friends. To make them I collected the acorn caps.....

sewed up a bunch of little "finger tip" sized acorns out of velvet, velour, felt and whatever looked good, stuffed it with wool....and

put fabric glue into the cap and stuffed the bottom piece in, let it dry and "your'e done!"

A fun thing to do on a cold rainy day!

Awesome tutorial...this looks alot easier than making "felted" balls to attach to the acorn caps. Hoping to make some wool leaves and acorn garland.
Looks like fun - I've wanted to do something fun with those acorn caps! Doug made tiny Jack-in-the-Boxes one year and the little elf who popped up wore an acorn cap. :-)
Love these!! Thank you for the tutorial... I cant wait to make some too!
I am still crying tears of joy for our new President Elect!!
