Now for something different...

A close up of something I'm working on for our rug hooking group... we have to use a limited palette and it's hard for me not to use lots of color, so this is what I came up with so far.
and a new little owl I just finished and hope to get in my shop later today...
And beach rocks from my morning beach walk yesterday.....we are having record breaking high temps while the rest of the country is having cold spells...strange! But I'm not complaining...I have to take my son to school, and then I'll take a quick beach walk while it's such nice weather.

I love black and white,,, oh and those rocks, oh my, I wish we had that kind in Washington. Think of the things you could do with them!

Your etsy mini looks great! I knew you could figure it out. :-)
I made one hooked rug years ago from our old clothing. All that time it took, I envy how you seem to crank out all your beautiful little gems.

Love all the new pieces Mary. Black and white is so clean, I can't get enough of it. Hoping that felted inlay is on for AFF. Would really enjoy learning that process. Hm, you must have good juju, a rock with three perfect holes. Nice. I'm tickled to think of someone enjoying warm temps; it almost transfers through the cable lines to my chilly fingers.
Hugs, Chris

I am very interested in trying the type of your rug hooking.. what is it and how do you do it? Links and tips would be greatly appreciated as i like this look much better than the common type that comes in kits

Those are the most amazing rocks! And to think you just picked them up on the beach! I'm envious! I took part in a quilting challenge once - we were to use black and white and one other color - it was very difficult for me because I like color too!
