A Little stitching...

A couple of little stitcheries that I am working on. I find frames at Art from Scrap and the thrift store and make the pieces fit the frame. I also buy new frames from time to time when I see a size I like. I have been collecting vintage embroideries and now will use some of them if I can part with them!

I have some vintage crewel work that I adore, and I am having a hard time "using" them, too. Still, it seems a shame to just leave them around and not get them seen somehow.

The sheep are adorable...you are always so busy! How do you do it all?
Love the idea of recycling stitching you have collected and stitching new things to it.

nice idea to combine your funky stitch with the vintage embroidery. I know those old bits are so hard to part with! Love the sheep and circles too.
