a couple of little wall hangings I made from recycled wool sweaters and embellished with some fun novelty yarns and embroidery thread. I think these could work for a kids art class.

I love your art!! it has inspired me to make some hooked dolls -- right now I am hooking with wool yarn and I really like it.
Kim, it is easier to embroider on a "non-stretchy" fabric like cotton muslin or linen. I usually use a embroidery hoop to keep the fabric tight. You can "frame" the piece with fabric or make it into something and stuff it. Hope this helps...

I'd love to see your completed dolls! Mary
I have a question about your stitchery. Can you do the embroidery on anything, like t-shirts, and then should I back it with some kind of facing?
thanks Kim
