Mushrooms...

I am having so much fun working on the tree decorations for Just Folk! They told me to just make whatever I wanted and they would be happy. That is the most wonderful thing to hear when you get an order! Total freedom and I am enjoying every moment. I have been working on these little fiber mushrooms and have partially completed about 30 vintage fabric house ornaments and my head is spinning with more ideas.
Got in a beach walk today....it's gorgeous weather here...80 degrees, sparkling ocean with pelicans and sea gulls and surfers and fishermen doing their thing.
I'm so looking forward to the next Artfiberfest in June in Portland, Or. Thinking of new classes to propose. I so enjoyed being with all the fiber enthusiasts this year. I loved the big classes where we got lots done, but the small class the last day where we got to visit was really fun. Extraordinary company...an Egyptologist with a Phd., educators with multiple degrees, and just the most creative, fun and sweet group of stitchers you could imagine. I'm still reveling in the magic of the time spent at Artfiberfest and still unpacking and looking at my little pin cushions and trades.

I love the time we get to spend at AFF! I really enjoyed Syd's class this year & have been happily painting canvas!

Hugs, take care.
